A thigh attachment for a walking assistance device has a structure formed by combining a band plate-like hard frame and a soft belt. The band plate-like hard frame is bent in a shape extending along a thigh outer section and a thigh front section. The soft belt covers a thigh rear section. In assisting walking of a user, the thigh attachment gives less sensation of pressure and discomfort to the user, properly fits to the user, and excellently transmits assistance force to the thigh.
