<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device, capable of improving response of steering assistance while restraining generation of oscillation, and providing preferable steering feeling. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power steering device which executes feed-back control based on deviation between obtained target assistance force and actual assistance force of a motor 18 for steering assistance by applying both detected values of a torque sensor 10 for detecting the steering torque applied to a steering member and a vehicle speed sensor 13 to a map 14A in which relation of the target assistance force to the steering torque is set taking the vehicle speed as a parameter includes a judging means (control section 30) which judges whether both the detected values of the torque sensor 10 and the vehicle speed sensor 13 satisfy the specific conditions of the steering torque and the vehicle speed in which the increase ratio of the target assistance force to the steering torque exceeds the preset value in the map 14A, and a control switching means (control section 30) which switches from the feed-back control to an open loop control based on the target assistance force when the specific conditions are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
