PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, that when using a glass plate for optical correction as a support turntable when recording/reproducing a flexible optical disk, the glass plate having damages on its surface has to be replaced, but the surface of a new glass plate may be damaged or covered with dust when the old glass plate is replaced manually by a user. SOLUTION: The recording medium changer system for recording/reproducing information in/from a flexible recording medium and replacing the recording medium for recording/reproducing the information is provided with a recording medium recording/reproducing device having a support plate detachably fixed to support the recording medium, a changer device including a recording medium replacing mechanism for replacing a recording medium in the recording/reproducing device, and a support plate replacing mechanism for replacing the support plate fixed to the recording/reproducing device, and a control unit for controlling the changer device.
