PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure even a part having a small reflection factor in a subject. SOLUTION: When it is determined that a part is a measurement part designated by a user in step S11, a shape measuring instrument determines an accumulated number of sheets for satisfying measurement precision designated by the user from the luminance of images captured in step S9 by an operation in step S12. The shape measuring instrument captures determined subjects in step S13, and integrates a required number of captured images to obtain an integration image in step S14, which can be applied, for example, to a shape measuring instrument for measuring the shape of a subject.
