PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft contact lens package that has a new structure capable of advantageously avoiding leakage of stored preserving liquid caused by vibration or the like during unsealing of the package, and enabling a user to take out a soft contact lens without soiling the rear face of the lens. SOLUTION: A sponge-like support 22 impregnated with a preserving liquid 32 is stored in the package 16 sealed so as to be openable. A support face 24 in the shape of a spherical projection is formed on the sponge-like support 22. The soft contact lens 26 is stored so that the rear face 28 of the spherical recess of the soft contact lens 26 is superposed on the support face 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
