<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for increasing the expression amount of protein in Actinomycetes. <P>SOLUTION: A method for activating a promoter comprises a step of culturing a recombinant microorganism incorporated with a promoter-inserted vector in a medium including a metal salt selected from the group consisting of magnesium, calcium and manganese. The activation of the promoter is to increase the expression amount of protein in a recombinant microorganism by the promoter. In this method, a promoter comprises a specific base sequence having a sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 to 427, or a base sequence in which one or several bases are deleted, substituted or added in the base sequence and which can exhibit equal activity to or higher activity than that of the base sequence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
