摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device capable of adequately regulating the operational range of an operation member with a simple constitution when the ignition is OFF. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular steering device 20 comprises an operation member, a shaft 52 connected to the operation member, a detection means for detecting information according to the operational amount of the operation member, a turning mechanism for turning wheels, a power source for driving the turning mechanism, a connection mechanism capable of mechanically connecting/disconnecting the shaft 52 to/from the turning mechanism so that the steering angles of the wheels are changed according to the operation of the operation member, an ECU for driving the power source during the disconnection by the connection mechanism and controlling the turning quantity based on information according to the operational quantity, a rotation regulating mechanism 200 for regulating the rotational range of the shaft 52 to be a predetermined value, a deregulating mechanism for performing the deregulation by the rotation regulating mechanism 200 when the power conduction is stopped, and a deregulation prohibition mechanism 400 for prohibiting deregulation by the deregulation mechanism when the ignition is turned OFF. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
