<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a unit for warning of a vehicle running state. <P>SOLUTION: The method for warning the vehicle running state includes a step of recognizing a peripheral vehicle from an imaged image and detecting recognition information relative to the peripheral vehicle, a step of deciding whether or not the peripheral vehicle is approaching by use of the detected recognition information, and as a result of the above discrimination, a step of issuing an alarm to the driver when the peripheral vehicle is judged to be approaching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
