摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bias adjustment method of a millimeter-wave radar device, capable of efficiently and accurately bias-adjusting MMIC used in a high-frequency circuit of the millimeter-wave radar device. <P>SOLUTION: This adjustment method for a bias value of the MMIC 21 of the high-frequency unit 2A is performed by connecting a signal generator 11 to the millimeter-wave radar device having a transmitting/receiving antenna of millimeter wave, the high frequency unit, and a processing unit for processing a received signal that is received by the antenna and input from the high-frequency unit. In this adjustment method, a processing unit 3A for inspection and a controller 13 are connected to the high-frequency unit 2A, the controller 13 calculates the target value of the bias value, based on the measurement result of the received signal obtained for the initial bias value provided to the MMIC 21, and the target value is set as a bias value of the processing unit for products, when the high-frequency characteristics of the received signal obtained by providing the target value to the MMIC 21 lie within a prescribed range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
