<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape which is used suitably for sticking a protective sheet-like structure onto a substrate and does not have well-known weak points of the prior art. <P>SOLUTION: The double-sided adhesive tape for affixing large sheet-like structures for the purposes of transport protection and/or assembly protection to substrates such as an automotive coating film consists of a first adhesive side A comprising an adhesive A with a coatweight greater than 10 g/m<SP>2</SP>and bond strength of at least 0.2 N/cm and of a second adhesive side B comprising an adhesive B having a melting point higher than 50°C.
