PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain exhaustion of an arc-extinguishing plate at the time of shutting current regarding a circuit breaker having the arc-extinguishing plate for interrupting an arc. SOLUTION: In the circuit breaker having the arc-extinguishing plate for making an interrupted arc, a hot gas diverging member for diverging a hot gas is arranged on an end as a hot gas outlet of the arc-extinguishing plate.
