To provide an image projecting system wherein the load on a communication path can be reduced and wherein a copy operation and a pasting operation can be performed, without requiring any complicated controls, for data based on a given one of images projected by an image projecting apparatus based on image data transmitted from a plurality of terminal apparatuses. The system (S) comprises a plurality of terminal apparatuses (2) and an image projecting apparatus (1) that projects images (30) based on image data acquired from the terminal apparatuses (2). The image projecting apparatus (1) includes a copy data acquiring part that acquires copy data from a terminal apparatus (2) in response to a copy operation instruction; a shared clipboard storing part that stores copy data; and a copy data transmitting part that transmits the copy data to the terminal apparatus (2) in response to a pasting operation instruction. Each of the terminal apparatuses (2) includes a copy operation processing part that extracts the copy data from a data file and transmits it to the image projecting apparatus (1); and an editing part that edits the data file based on the copy data transmitted from the image projecting apparatus (1) in response to the pasting operation instruction.
