A body of the worm including the non-return valve is provided as an expulsion element. The worm includes one or multiple spirals such that the worm forms a part of connecting elements (24). A drive unit (22) includes a piston-cylinder unit (27) and a rotary drive (29) for the worm. The connecting elements with an inner wall of the cylinder form a buffer volume for accommodating molten mass.
