PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creamy detergent which comprises a potassium N-long chain acylglutamate as a main ingredient, is familiar with water, is excellent in foamability, has shape stability in a wide temperature range and is excellent in preservation stability. SOLUTION: The objective creamy detergent composition is obtained by bringing the composition to contain the potassium N-long chain acylglutamate, an N-long chain acyl neutral amino acid and/or a salt thereof, a polyhydric alcohol and water in a specific blending ratio and pH. A composition comprising an N-long chain acylglutamic acid dibutyl amide-based gelling agent, an N-[3-alkyl(12-18)oxy-2-hydroxypropyl]-L-arginic acid salt, a higher alcohol and water is cited as an example of reference recipes.
