PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of a storage case attached into a luggage compartment in an automobile. SOLUTION: In this device for loading articles into the luggage compartment by using the storage cases (2, 702, 802) attachable into the luggage compartment (11) in the automobile, the height of the surrounding wall (20) of each storage case can be changed at least at each section by a regulator including at least one winding shaft (61, 61a, 61b, 61c or 61d) in order to change a volume of each storage case, the regulator is provided with at least one unlockable locking device (8, 108, 208, 308 or 408), the rotational movement of at least one winding shaft can be locked by the unlockable locking device in preparation for transportation to thereby prevent at least the stretch of the surrounding wall (20) during transportation, and/or the regulator includes pull-out restriction devices (9, 408, 509) each restricting the maximum pull-out movement of at least one winding shaft.
