<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent an overcharge in battery charging by a simple configuration regarding a battery controller for vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The battery controller for vehicle has a charging-rate detecting means 1b for detecting the charging rate of a battery 4 at the start of constant-current control, an elapsed-time measuring means 2a for measuring an elapsed time after the start of constant-current control and a time-out setting means 2c setting the time-out time of constant-current control on the basis of the charging rate detected by the charging-rate detecting means 1b. The battery controller further has a current interrupting means 2d for interrupting the current supplied to the battery 4 when the elapsed time measured by the elapsed-time measuring means 2a exceeds the time-out time set by the time-out setting means 2c during constant-current control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
