<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for ink-jet recording, which has high sensitivity to the irradiation of active radiations, and can form images excellent in curability, and to provide an ink-jet recording method using the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is the ink composition for the ink-jet recording, characterized by comprising an N-vinyl lactam, a compound having a partial structure represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is H or an alkyl group; and R<SP>2</SP>to R<SP>5</SP>are each independently a methyl group or an ethyl group) and a polymerizable unsaturated bond in the molecule, and a radical polymerization initiator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
