<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a disk main body and a disk control board and also to cool an electronic device on an electric component mounted board simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic information storage device is equipped with: a sheet metal 50 having a ventilation opening 51 and disposed above the electric component mounted board 43 of the image processing apparatus; the disk main body 44 arranged above the sheet metal 50 and supported by the sheet metal 50; the disk control board 53 disposed above the electric component mounted board 43 and below the sheet metal 50; and a fan 45 installed on the sheet metal 50, sucking gas in a space between the sheet metal 50 and the disk main body 44 and sending it to a space between the sheet metal 50 and the disk control substrate 53 through the ventilation opening 51. Furthermore, it is equipped with a heat radiation plate 48 on the disk main body 44. The disk control board 53 has vent holes 60 and 62 communicating with the upper space and lower space.
