<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite tubular article made by impregnating a pore portion of a PTFE porous tube with an elastomer causing no separation of a curing agent even if diluted with a fluorine solvent as a solvent and crosslinking the elastomer and to provide a product capable of effectively utilizing the characteristics of the composite tubular article. <P>SOLUTION: The composite tubular article is produced by impregnating a pore portion of a PTFE porous tube having a porosity of not less than 50% to not more than 85%, an inner diameter of not less than 0.5 mm to not more than 3 mm and a wall thickness of not less than 25% to not more than 100% of the inner diameter with a silicone elastomer having a fluorinated polyether as a skeleton and crosslinking the elastomer. The composite tubular article can be used for a tubular product for medical use, a transfer tube for liquid medicine and a tubular sealant. In addition, the composite tubular article having an inner diameter of not less than 5 mm to not more than 50 mm and a wall thickness of not less than 45 μm to not more than 150 μm can be used as a tubular member for a fixing roller or a fixing belt of a copying machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
