摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve fuel efficiency by reducing energy consumption due to rotational speed control that is performed when an automatic transmission part is held in a neutral state in order to secure controllability in switching the automatic transmission part to a state of power transmission. <P>SOLUTION: If the automatic transmission part 20 is held in a neutral state while an engine 10 is maintained in a predetermined operating condition, the rotational speed (second motor rotational speed nmg2) of a transmission member 18 is controlled by a first motor generator MG1 to reach a predetermined target rotational speed nmtag in order to secure controllability for a shift from N to D. The total energies consumed by the engine 10 and the first motor generator MG1 are taken into consideration and the target rotational speed nmtag is determined while the oil temperature Toil of operating fluid and the rotational speed NOUT of an output shaft are used as parameters in such a way that the total energies are minimized, so that energy consumption due to the rotational speed control of the transmission member 18 at neutral is reduced to further improve fuel efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
