PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a rule to add an index by image data.

SOLUTION: An MFP is provided with: image data acquisition parts (S03, S04) for acquiring image data; an object extraction part (S07) for extracting an object from the image data; an index application part (S08) for applying an index name preliminarily associated with the attributes of the extracted object to the object; an index information creation part (S09) for creating index information including a hierarchy into which the attributes of the extracted object are preliminarily classified in at least one hierarchy, the position of the extracted object in the image data and the added index name; and an index information adding part (S12) for adding the created index information to the image data.
