<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient stirring effect even if there are fewer vacant spaces in a conveyance passage in a developer-accommodation part. <P>SOLUTION: A development unit, which circularly conveys a developer, while stirring it, through a first agent accommodation part and a second agent accommodation part, is provided with; a first conveying screw which conveys the developer in the first agent accommodation part while stirring it; a second conveying screw which conveys the developer in the second agent accommodation part while stirring it; and a driving device which drives these screws independently. When the deviation of a detected toner-adhesion amount exceeds a predetermined value, the development unit makes an amount per unit time of the developer conveyed by the second conveying screw relatively larger compared with an amount per unit time of the developer conveyed by the first conveying screw. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
