<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC tag having an undisconnected antenna pattern when in use and capable of being easily made unreadable of the IC tag after use. <P>SOLUTION: The IC tag comprises an IC chip, an antenna, and a plurality of substrates. The antenna transmits and receives information stored in the IC chip to and from an external device. The plurality of substrates include the substrate whereon the antenna is mounted. At least one of the plurality of substrates has cuts on its edges and in a different area from where the antenna is located so that the antenna is disconnected when a shearing force is applied to a cut. Thus, the antenna is allowed to remain undisconnected when the cuts are formed. Moreover, a user is allowed to easily make the IC tag unreadable by applying a shearing force to a cut after use of the IC tag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
