Class 17(2) [Also in Group VIII] Insole rib stripping comprises a fabric tape 13, Fig. 4, adhesively secured over part of its width to a stiffer fibrous strip, e.g. of fibreboard, leaving portions of said strip and tape free to be secured contiguously to one face of an insole 21, Fig. 3, as opposite attachment flanges, the face of the strip opposite to that to be secured to the insole being covered with an adhesively attached fabric 12, with a coating of nitrocellulose or polythene, or with a fabric followed by a coating. The face 14 of tape 13 and the exposed face of strip 10 are coated with adhesive such as a solution or dispersion of natural or synthetic rubber by which they are attached to the insole. |
