PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a data signal line driving circuit from being broken due to a change in a common electrode voltage. SOLUTION: The data signal line driving circuit 13 changes voltage to be applied to a data signal line Sj of a liquid crystal panel 11 according to a latch pulse LP. A common electrode driving circuit 23 changes voltage to be applied to a common electrode 35 of the liquid crystal panel 11 according to a polarity control signal REVC. A timing control circuit 21 switches timing at which the latch pulse LP and the polarity control signal REVC are changed according to a value set in a register. A data signal line voltage is changed in synchronization with the change of a common electrode voltage by using the timing control circuit 21, so that a variation in the data signal line voltage due to push-up and push-down when the common electrode voltage is changed is reduced and the data signal line driving circuit can be prevented from being broken.
