<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reading device capable of reading an one-dimensional code at high resolution by using a two-dimensional light-receiving sensor. <P>SOLUTION: Reflected light from a two-dimensional code is photographed by the light-receiving sensor 23 through an imaging lens 27 without passing through a mirror when reading the two-dimensional code. When reading a bar code, the reflected light from the bar code is photographed at a diagonal line of a square light-receiving surface 23a of the light-receiving sensor 23 by rotating the reflected light around a light-receiving center axis X by mirrors 11, 12, and 13. Thus, the bar code can be read at higher resolution compared with photographing the square light-receiving surface 23a of the light-receiving sensor 23 in the longitudinal direction or in the lateral direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
