PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body rear part structure for a vehicle capable of enhancing operation stability by enhancing the strength and rigidity of a bonding part of a rear pillar of a back door opening and a rear header and enhancing the rigidity of the back door opening, i.e., twisting rigidity of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: The rear header 4 has a pair of hinge reinforcements 32 mounted with back door hinges to both end portions in a vehicle width direction, and an upper end portion of an inner member 20 of the rear pillar 3 bonded to a roof side rail is bonded to the hinge reinforcement 32.
