PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental adhesive composition that exhibits excellent adhesive strength and adhesion durability for adhesion of a dental repairing material to enamel. SOLUTION: Alginic acid and/or an alginic acid salt (A) is incorporated with a dental pretreating material comprising a polymerizable monomer (B) bearing a strongly acidic group and water (C). Alginic acid and/or an alginic acid salt (A) is incorporated with a dental adhesive material comprising a polymerizable monomer (B) bearing a strongly acidic group, water (C) and a photopolymerization initiator (D).
