PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for synthesizing fluorine-containing alkylsulfonylaminoethylα-substituted acrylates under mild conditions using a solvent being friendly to the environment. SOLUTION: A sulfonamidation reaction of an aminoethylα-substituted acrylate or a salt thereof with a fluorine-containing alkylsulfonyl fluoride is carried out in the presence of a base. In the process, the reaction is carried out by using a fluorine-containing compound as a solvent. 1,1,2,2,3,3,4-Heptafluorocyclopentane, trifluoromethylbenzene, 1,3-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene, 1,4-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene etc., are particularly preferable as the fluorine-containing compound. The reaction proceeds with a sufficient conversion rate and selectivity even mild conditions, e.g.≥0°C by adopting the solvents, which results in the production of the objective substance in high yield.
