The invention relates to a shifting device for a multispeed transmission, particularly for motor vehicles, comprising an axially displaceable and pivotable gearshift shaft (4), which enables the shifting of gears by displacing and pivoting a shifting element (5) connected to the shaft and by shifting rods that can be operatively connected to said shifting element, wherein the gearshift shaft (4) is arranged in a gearshift tower housing (1), which is substantially configured in a crucible shape and is closed by a cover (6) made of plastic. The invention is characterized in that the cover (6) comprises at least two through bores for mounting to the gearshift tower housing (1), wherein a spacer sleeve (50) is arranged in each bore. The present invention further relates to a cover arrangement for closing a gearshift tower housing, comprising a cover (6) made of plastic, wherein the cover (6) has at least two through bores for mounting to the gearshift tower housing (1), wherein a steel spacer sleeve (50) is pressed into each bore. The cover arrangement further comprises a seal (30) and a cap (40), which are welded by ultrasound to the cover (6) or are pressed into the cover (6). |
