A flexible longitudinally extending sealing, trimming or guiding strip 22 having a longitudinally decorative part 40 such as made of bright metal secured to an outside surface by a bonding material 52 such as a polyurethane material. The strip 22 may need to curve or bend to conform to the longitudinal contours of the flange 16. The strip 22 would normally be used as a waist belt for fitting along an outside edge of the waist gap in a door of a vehicle body through which a pane of window glass 14 can be raised or lowered. |
