ALLOY MATERIAL, MAGNETIC MATERIAL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MAGNETIC MATERIAL, AND MAGNETIC MATERIAL MANUFACTURED BY THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy material which is suitable for mass production and has a fine grain size; a magnetic material having a bulk of a single phase and a uniform composition; and a method for manufacturing those.

SOLUTION: The alloy material is composed of a plurality of phases having different compositions, each of which has a grain size of 20 μm or smaller, and has the same total composition ratio as that of a NaZn13type La(FexSi1-x)13compound. When the alloy material is heat-treated, each element sufficiently diffuses in a short period of time, and the La(FexSi1-x)13compound having a NaZn13type crystal structure of the single phase and the uniform composition is efficiently obtained.
