<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle cap device which keeps an opened cap attached to a PET bottle, eliminates the risk of dropping or loosing the cap, and allows the user to carry the PET bottle with him/her without directly gripping the same with the hand. <P>SOLUTION: The bottle cap device is formed of: a mounting ring 12 fitted onto a base portion of a mouth 2 of the PET bottle 1; the cap 4 for opening/closing the mouth 2 of the bottle 1; and a flexible suspension member 13 connecting between the mounting ring 12 and the cap 4.
