<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment works of operation reaction force of a brake pedal so as to enhance the degree of freedom for the setting in a rear brake device of a straddle type vehicle provided with a rear master cylinder receiving operation force of the brake pedal and generating liquid pressure. <P>SOLUTION: An outer periphery of a cylinder body 45 of the rear master cylinder 25 is equipped with an outer cylinder 46 surrounding the cylinder body 45 and spacing a predetermined distance thereto, an annular piston 52 sliding in the space 51 formed between the outer cylinder 46 and the cylinder body 45, and a fluid chamber 53 defined by the annular piston 52 in the space 51. The fluid chamber 53 is filled with compressible fluid having predetermined pressure, the annular piston 52 is connected to the brake pedal side, and the brake pedal is energized to be a status before the operation by receiving the pressure of the compressible fluid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
