PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas valve integrated type gas meter mounting unit easily mounting a small-sized gas meter having gas meter inlet and outlet facing downward. SOLUTION: This gas meter mounting unit 1 is equipped with an inlet pipe part 10 having a connection part 60 or the like to the gas meter inlet 51, an output pipe part 40 having a connection part 70 or the like to the gas meter outlet 52, end face packings 66. 76 mounted on the periphery of each connection part of the inlet pipe part and the output pipe part, a connection member 20 for connecting the inlet pipe part to the output pipe part, a support member 48 for supporting the inlet pipe part and the output pipe part and connecting each part to a building wall or the like, and fastening members 22, 24, 26 between the gas meter and the connection member 20. Since the gas meter is fastened with the connection member, the gas meter inlet and outlet can be connected to both pipe parts. Consequently, centering between both pipe parts and the gas meter inlet and outlet during a connection work which is necessary hitherto is not required, allowing even a worker unskilled in the gas meter mounting work to easily mount the gas meter.
