PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately operate a detent member 51, in an operation device 40 including a detent mechanism 50 for displacing and positioning displacement members 22 and 33 of a state switching element 10, an actuator 60 for driving the detent mechanism 50 and a control device 5 for controlling the actuator 60. SOLUTION: The control device 5 includes information collection means S1-S5 and S11-S16 each detecting and storing a self-traveling starting position of the detent member 51 in its forward process and a backward process by actually driving the detent member 51 so as to be reciprocative, and a learning means S17 for learning information on a bottom position of a trough 56 based on collected information.
