PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush allowing a user to strongly and actually feel that he/she brushes between the teeth and that the toothbrush enters between the teeth. SOLUTION: The toothbrush 1 is formed by planting tufts of bristles in a plurality of bristle planting holes arranged on a bristle planting surface 2a of a head part 2. The bristle planting surface 2a of the head part 2 is provided with first bristle planting holes 3 and second bristle planting holes 4 having a diameter smaller than the first bristle planting holes 3. The first bristle planting holes 3 and the second bristle planting holes 4 are arranged in line in a width direction x of the head part 2 so that the first bristle planting holes 3 are positioned on both sides of the second bristle planting holes 4 in a longitudinal direction y of the head part 2. The second bristle planting holes 4 are provided with the tufts of bristles having a higher rigidity in the width direction x than in the longitudinal direction y of the head part 2.
