PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device capable of reducing luminance unevenness and emission color shading caused by drying unevenness, and further, narrowing a frame. SOLUTION: The organic EL device is provided with a plurality of light-emitting elements 28 each having with an anode, a cathode, and an organic layer 32 arranged between the anode and the cathode, and banks partitioning light-emitting elements 28 from one another. The banks have openings in which the organic layers 32 of the light-emitting elements 28 are arranged. Depths of the openings at peripheral parts within an element area with the plurality of light-emitting elements arranged are larger than those of the openings at centers of the element area.
