PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content retrieval device and method which can be applied to the retrieval intentions of a plurality of users or various retrieval content, and which are easy for a user to use. SOLUTION: A content retrieval device is provided with a storage part 212-1 for storing a plurality of keywords and relevance between the keywords; a retrieval means 206-2 for retrieving content based on the keyword; a relevance calculation means 206-3 for calculating the relevance between the keywords; an extraction means 206-1 for extracting a keyword group from the storage part 212-1 based on the relevance; and an output means 214-1 for outputting information showing the extracted keyword group.
