A telecommunication system for managing telecommunication data includes a mobile telephone communication device operable via a public telephone network and which has a storage arrangement for storing a telephone communication during a telephone session; a processing facility for processing the telephone communication; and a transferring means for transferring the telephone communication from the mobile device to the processing facility. A corresponding method includes receiving a stored telephone communication from a mobile telephone communication device operable via a public telephone network at a processing facility; and processing the transferred telephone communication at the processing facility. A mobile telephone communication device is also provided, which has a transfer unit for transferring a stored telephone communication to a processing facility substantially immediately after the session has ended. A corresponding method includes transferring a stored telephone communication from a mobile device to a processing facility substantially immediately after the session has ended. Instead of transferring the telephone communication immediately, it may be transferred at a later time or upon the occurrence of a predetermined event. The telephone communication may be edited, sorted, filtered, deleted, searched, merged or exported and reports may be prepared, by the processing facility.
