BELT PIECE FOR THE TRANSPORT OF ARTICLES AND/OR FOR POWER TRANSMISSIONS AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING A CLOSED LOOPED BELT EMPLOYING SAID BELT PIECE AS STARTING ELEMENT

Belt piece, of the type which can be closed as a loop and which can be employed for the transport of articles and/or for power transmissions, comprising two ends (2, 3), which can be connected with respect to each other, which: extend transversely or in parallel to a transverse section of the belt piece (1 ),- and have complementary coupling profiles (4, 5) respectively comprising at least a first (6) and a second portion (7), which are mutually arranged in order to contact each other when the ends (2, 3) are coupled together and to press the one against the other in case a longitudinal traction effort is applied to the closed looped belt piece, preventing the same ends (2, 3) from sliding in longitudinal direction. Method for obtaining a closed looped belt employing the belt piece (1) comprising the steps of : approaching the ends (2, 3) of the belt piece (1 ) and fixing the ends (2, 3) with respect to each other by means of melting a thermoplastic material or by applying a small block.
