<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidic beverage suppressed in a decrease of sweetness caused by decomposition of aspartame under acidity, and suppressed in the reduction of sweetness of aspartame at preservation. <P>SOLUTION: This aspartame-containing acidic beverage is mixed with 0.01-0.1 wt.% of polymerized polyphenol (especially, polymerized catechin, derived from half-fermented tea or fermented tea) so as to suppress a decrease of sweetness of aspartame at preservation. A method for suppressing a decrease of sweetness of aspartame at preservation in the aspartame-containing acidic beverage is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
