摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability and safety of a vehicular braking device by ensuring its appropriate braking force even when a power system or a hydraulic pressure supply source fails. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular braking device is provided with: a master cylinder 11 supporting a pressurizing piston 14 movably inside a cylinder 12 to partition a forward pressure chamber R<SB>1</SB>and a backward pressure chamber R<SB>2</SB>and moving the pressurizing piston 14 in response to a brake pedal 26, thereby capable of outputting a hydraulic pressure of the forward pressure chamber R<SB>1</SB>; wheel cylinders 33FR, 33FL connected to the forward pressure chamber R<SB>1</SB>; a pressure control valve 58 capable of outputting the control pressure with a hydraulic pressure from an accumulator 56 controlled to the backward pressure chamber R<SB>2</SB>by moving a drive valve 72 by electromagnetic force; and a reaction control valve 60 supporting a backup piston 13 movably inside the cylinder 12, which can transmit an operating force of the brake pedal 26 to the pressurizing piston 14, to partition a reaction chamber R<SB>3</SB>and controlling the supply and discharge of hydraulic pressure to and from the reaction chamber R<SB>3</SB>in accordance with the operating state of the master cylinder 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
