<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar code, which never causes partial narrowing or missing of bars over the whole length due to printing omission even if printing is performed in a printing omission state in which a part of a heating element provided on a thermal head is broken. <P>SOLUTION: The bar code is printed in a bar code print area 13 vertically parallel to a carrying direction of a label 3, and includes a deformed bar symbol in which bars are inclined in the carrying direction of the label 3. Accordingly, since one bar is printed using a plurality of heating elements of the thermal head 5, a space is overlapped with a print omission part at any position, and the bar code can be read without print omission in the overlapped part of the space with the print omission part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
