PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image with reduced image deletion while restraining cost. SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: an equipment control part 82 for calculating a time up to a time from the tuning-off of an electric power source till the tuning-on of the electric power source, or a finish time of a printing job up to a start time of the next printing job; an environment sensor 81 for detecting at least one of a temperature and a humidity; an image screen generating part 83 for generating an image screen for a spatial frequency based on the time calculated by a time calculation means and the detection result from a detecting means; and an exposure unit 40 for forming the image onto a photoreceptor with a protection layer formed on a charge transport layer, using the image screen generated by an image screen generating means.
