PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cleaning body capable of securely cleaning or washing a surface to be cleaned or washed even if the surface to be cleaned or washed is uneven. SOLUTION: The rotary cleaning body is composed of a rod-shaped rotor 2 rotatably attached to a device, and a cleaning member 3 attached to the outer surface of the rotor 2. The rotor 2 is formed of a material or structure having flexibility. Since the rotor 2 is formed of the material or structure having flexibility, the rotary cleaning body 1 is deformed along the unevenness when the rotary cleaning body 1 is pressed on the surface to be cleaned or washed even if the surface to be cleaned or washed is uneven, and therefore, the surface to be cleaned or washed can be securely cleaned or washed.
