PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct drive torque motor device which can control operation or stoppage of a shaft fixed in the center of an inner rotor. SOLUTION: In the direct drive torque motor device comprising a spindle, a damper, a bearing member, a direct drive torque motor, a body, a position detector, and an adjusting nut, the spindle 20 is provided, on the outer circumference thereof, with several layers which reduce the diameter gradually from one end toward the other end, and an externally threaded stage 25. The bearing member includes some oil seal, a main bearing and an auxiliary roller bearing. The direct drive torque motor is fitted to the outer circumferential surface of the spindle and located in the vicinity of the main bearing. The body includes a case and a rear cover oil seal. The position detector is fixed in the body in order to detect variation in rotary position of the spindle. The adjusting nut is screwed over the externally-threaded stage at the end of the spindle and tightens the auxiliary roller bearing 44. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
