PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container which prevents ice or water generated from dry ice from dropping onto an item stored and also prevents carbon dioxide generated from dry ice from flowing into the inside of a container main body. SOLUTION: This storage container is provided with a container main body 1 whose ceiling face 2 has an arrangement hole, a dish part 3 for placing dry ice thereon, a receiving part 4 positioned between the dish part 3 and the item stored in the main body 1 and a pressing part covering the open face 3a of the dish part 3. The part 3 is made of a highly heat-conductive material for transferring the coldness of dry ice to the inside of the main body 1 through the material of the part 3. The receiving part 4 prevents ice and/or water generated on the outer face of the part 3 by the dry ice from dropping on the item stored.
