PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aluminum alloy casting by which metal characteristics such as ductility of an aluminum alloy casting. SOLUTION: The method for producing an aluminum alloy casting at least includes: a step S12 where an aluminum alloy casting W is subjected to solution treatment; a step S13 where the aluminum alloy casting W is immersed into a molten metal L in such a manner that the surface of the aluminum alloy casting W is composed of the immersed surface fd immersed into the molten metal L of pure aluminum and the non-immersed surface fn not immersed into the molten metal L while maintaining its soluted state; and a step S14 where negative pressure is generated inside of a space S facing to at least a part of the non-immersed surface fn, crystallized products in the soluted aluminum alloy casting W are sucked out from at least a part of the non-immersed surface fn, and further, the molten metal L is sucked into the aluminum alloy casting W from the immersed surface fd, thus the crystallized products in the aluminum alloy casting are substituted with pure aluminum.
