METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the entry of contamination inside panels by fully infiltrating a sealant between the panels when making a thin pair of panels. SOLUTION: A panel sealant 32 is applied around the display area on a mother glass panel 100 of the mother glass panel pair and an outer sealant 36 is applied to form dotted areas 36b with a certain interval outside the panel sealant 32. Then the pair of the mother glass panels are adhered together and a sealant 38 is applied all around the adhered mother glass panels.
